ArchKey Solutions LLC in Fargo, North Dakota, is hiring a Horizontal Directional Drill Operator to support underground electrical and communications installations. You will operate the HDD rig and related equipment across a regional area, ensuring safety, proper clearances, and accurate depth measurements.

The ideal candidate has 1 years of HDD field experience, a valid drivers license (Class A preferred) with a DOT medical card, and a strong team orientation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years of HDD field experience with directional drill rigs.
• Valid drivers license; Class A preferred; DOT medical card.
• Must travel within the region with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Open to learning and taking feedback for improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD drill rig and excavation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper clearances and record depths per code and company policy.
• Coordinate with foremen, crews and customers to meet project goals.
• Attend toolbox safety meetings and follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and repair equipment; report any deficiencies or safety concerns.
• Review diagrams and plans to ensure accurate installations.
