Job summary

ElectriCom in Louisville, KY is seeking a Bore Operator to safely operate directional drilling equipment and coordinate crew activities. The role supports a safe, productive job site and requires physical outdoor labor in all weather conditions.

Minimum 2-3 years of Bore Operator experience in utility construction is expected. A CDL is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire; willingness to travel is essential for assignments.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of Bore Operator experience.
• Experience in utility construction excavation.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors.
• CDL required or can obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a directional drill and use standard tools of the trade.
• Coordinate activities of Locator and Laborers to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a safe outdoor job site and ensure safety standards are met.
• Interact effectively with Supervisor, Area Manager, co-workers and customers.
• Perform Roadside Traffic Control as needed.
• Engage in routine training (LMS, OSHA-10, etc.).
