Job Description: Smart Home Installation and Service Technician

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert-level installation and servicing of smart home technology, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  2. Become proficient with industry-leading smart home products through training.
  3. Manage inventory and assets responsibly.
  4. Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home systems in customer residences.
  5. Create solutions that protect and simplify customers’ lives.
  6. Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of company products and equipment.
  7. Explain system capabilities and operational instructions to customers clearly.
  8. Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services to customers.
  9. Leverage appointments into leads and revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Sales and/or field service experience is beneficial; technical backgrounds such as construction or electrical work are also helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Climb ladders up to 14 feet.
  • Work in attics and confined spaces.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
