MIDFLORIDA Credit Union is seeking a Direct to Consumer Loan Originator to engage members through digital channels and convert leads into mortgage loans. You will manage a high-volume loan pipeline, educate borrowers on products, and collaborate with processors, underwriters, and staff to close loans efficiently.

Qualifications include 1–3 years of mortgage origination experience, strong relationship-building and sales skills, and familiarity with Encompass.

Responsibilities

• Engage members through digital channels with leads to boost loan production.
• Identify best loan solutions for borrowers and educate them on products, rates, and terms.
• Maintain records of borrower interactions and progress in CRM/LOS.
• Review loan files for accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with processors, originators, underwriters, and mortgage staff to close loans.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to advise borrowers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
