Job summary

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union is seeking a Direct to Consumer Loan Originator in Ocala, FL. You will engage members via digital channels, educate on mortgage options, and manage a high-volume loan pipeline to drive production.

The role requires 1–3 years in mortgage origination, strong sales skills, and familiarity with Encompass. Office-based position with potential to grow within the mortgage team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience with Mortgage Origination.
• Proven sales experience and strong relationship building.
• Encompass experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Federal and State mortgage regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members through digital channels with company generated leads to enhance loan production.
• Identify best loan solutions and educate borrowers on products, rates, and terms.
• Maintain records of borrower interactions and progress in CRM/origination systems.
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and staff to facilitate closings.
