Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to join our team in Oakdale, CT. The role focuses on coordinating program operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a caring team dedicated to individuals with complex needs.

You will hire, train, and schedule staff, coordinate activities, and maintain detailed records. Expect on-call responsibilities and a commitment to safe, community-based living environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field is required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
• Medication administration certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
• One year experience in a related field is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff; coordinate activities and appointments.
• Maintain detailed records for individuals served.
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and cover shifts when needed.
• Monitor safety and environmental conditions; intervene with behavior plans when needed.

As a Direct Support Supervisor, you'll coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling staff, coordinating activities and appointments, and maintaining detailed records for the individuals served.

What you will do:

• Facilitate the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals by ensuring the living environments and program activities are in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Intervene when aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior occurs to implement behavior plans and strategies
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary

Schedule: Generally day hours Monday-Friday/some nights/some weekends/some on call responsibilities/flexibility required
