Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC, based in North Carolina, is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead two or more Direct Support Employees across residential facilities. The role includes supervising staff, conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations, and training teams to deliver person-centered supports.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with health-related college credit or experience preferred. CPR certification and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; health-related Associate degree preferred.
• One year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• CPR certification and ability to obtain/maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more Direct Support Employees.
• Supervise residential homes/facilities and coordinate daily activities.
• Interviewing, hiring recommendations, and staff training.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure staff meet training requirements and attend required events.
• Provide after-hours/on-call coverage as part of rotation.
