Job summary

ServiceSource Inc. in Alexandria, VA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in daily programming, social and life skills, and community inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required plus 1 year of experience with adults with developmental disabilities or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human services with experience in developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and support daily programming in academic, social, life and leisure skills.
• Develop and implement Person Centered Plans (PCP) including social, community inclusion, communication and behavior.
• Maintain accurate PCP records, quarterly reports and daily notes.
• Ensure safety, documentation and progress; report unsafe conditions to the Program Manager.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree in human services (preferred)
