Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is seeking a Direct Support Person to assist individuals with self-care, meals, housekeeping and social activities. The role emphasizes data collection and daily logging as required.

The position requires CPR/First Aid, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work all shifts including overnights and weekends. Competitive benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid basics required.
• Must be able to pass the TABE test.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including overnights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, implement, and document individual personal goals and behavior programs.
• Participate in development of individual Service Plans via daily log and staffing.
• Provide transportation to individuals served as part of community integration.
• Maintain regular and consistent work attendance.
• Demonstrate professional, respectful conduct with clients, families and colleagues.
