Community Options, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, Home Health Aides in Lincoln Park, NJ. The role provides person-centered care with paid training and opportunities for professional growth.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Roles include full-time, part-time, and PRN positions, with responsibilities spanning daily living support, health monitoring, and community integration.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise good judgment in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns.
• Assist with learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate with individuals in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and families to build a support network.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
