Job summary

Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care and supervision to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities in day program, employment, and community settings in Westminster, MD.

The role requires a high school diploma and offers opportunities to contribute to participants’ personal and professional growth. Training and safety are emphasized, with flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in the day program setting, job site, or community.
• Train workplace skills and foster independence; support individuals in carrying out duties as per employers.
• Implement behavior management plans and collect data.
• Support participants toward PCP goals and collect related data.
• Provide safe transportation for participants to/from homes, job sites, and day programs when applicable.
