Job summary

Journey Found, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Specialist in Connecticut to assist individuals with daily living activities, transportation, and community engagement. The role includes medication administration training and collaboration with nurses and supervisors to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (dressing, cooking, cleaning, bathing, toileting).
• Transport people to appointments and community outings.
• Document program data and support behavioral management.
• Administer medications following MAP training and DDS guidelines.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with nurses, clinicians, and supervisors.
• Help with groceries, errands, routines, and decision-making processes.
