Job summary

Journey Found, Inc. in Manchester, CT seeks a Direct Support Specialist to assist individuals in group homes with daily living activities, transportation, and community outings.

You will document program data, support medication administration, attend appointments, and work closely with nurses and supervisors as part of a dedicated team. A high school diploma and driving experience are required; CPR/FA/PMT and MAP training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have at least 3 years driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Behavioral Management Experience and/or formal training.
• Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.
• PMT, CPR, FA and complete DDS Medication Administration Program (MAP).
• Must be free from communicable disease.

Responsibilities
