Job summary

Journey Found, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Specialist in Manchester, CT to assist residents in daily living activities and community outings. The role involves medication administration, transport, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate care.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, driving experience, and training in behavioral management. CPR/FA/PMT and MAP completion are required; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have at least 3 years driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Behavioral Management Experience and/or formal training.
• Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.
• Will be required to be PMT, CPR, FA and complete DDS Medication Administration Program (MAP).
• Must be free from communicable disease.
