Job summary

C&J Tender Heart RS in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional - Float to provide essential care to individuals with disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.

You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans, maintain confidentiality per HIPAA, document progress, and support clients in community resources and social activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized living space for clients.
• Safely lift and transfer clients up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to follow care plans.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing.
• Document client progress and report changes.
• Engage clients in recreational activities and social skills.
