Job summary

Community Options is seeking an entry-level, part-time caregiver in Bismarck, ND to support individuals with daily living tasks and promote independence. You’ll help with cooking, cleaning, shopping, transportation, and other activities in a teamwork-driven environment.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $500 (20 hours a week), a flexible schedule, and benefits including health coverage and paid time off. Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Access to a mobile phone (iPhone/Android).
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain during training.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Travel as needed to meet operational and client needs.
• Pass an extensive background check including MVR, drug screening, and DHS pre-employment approval.
• Complete required training/certification within the specified time frame.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and transportation.
• Work directly with individuals we support to enhance quality of life.
• Provide hands-on, team-oriented support in a compassionate, respectful manner.
