Job summary

Ryans Place LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals aged 3 and older with disabilities, promoting quality of life through personal care, light housekeeping, errands, medication support, and meaningful daily activities.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and reliability, with a positive, warm environment and opportunities to grow, while adhering to Medicaid service parameters and documentation timelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or home health aide preferred.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance proof are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and community access to support meaningful activities.
• Provide personal care, hygiene support, and accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Document services and progress in client records within 24 hours of service.
• Follow Individual Support Plans/Person Centered Plans and maintain compliance with Medicaid service parameters.
