Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Earn $22-$28/hr with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts and local cases near you.

You will work one-on-one with clients, following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success. Prior caregiving experience is a plus, CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
