Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• 18 years of age or older (required).
• Read, write and comprehend English with the ability to remain calm and communicate during a crisis (required).
• Valid FL Driver’s License in good standing (preferred).
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, push wheelchairs, and use hands for tasks.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance with personal care for all individuals in the home as needed including toileting, bathing, dressing and hygiene needs.
• Provide positive social and leisure interaction to all individuals in the home regularly throughout the day.
• Safely lift, transfer and reposition all individuals in the home as outlined in daily schedules.
• Ensure safety for individuals in the home during mealtimes, including food prep and dietary needs.
• Complete housekeeping duties daily (dishes, beds, laundry, trash, bathrooms, kitchens, mopping, sweeping).
• Ensure adequate supervision of individuals in the home and coordinate with staff for coverage as needed.
• Report to work during inclement weather to ensure care; may shelter in place during a hurricane.
• Treat all people with dignity and respect with friendly, professional communication.
• If hired as a driver, operate large capacity vehicles for transport to training, medical appointments, and community outings.

High School Diploma (required)
