Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks Direct Support Personnel I to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in developing interpersonal skills and daily living abilities in home, community or residential settings. You will work directly with residents and follow their Individual Service Plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in growth and development of interpersonal skills.
• Provide supports for activities of daily living in home, community or residential settings.
• Follow the resident's/ patient's Individual Service Plan.
