Job summary

Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in residential homes, promoting independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing. You will help with personal care, daily living activities, transportation to appointments, budgeting, and community involvement.

You will also administer medications as guided, follow support plans, and maintain thorough documentation within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and household tasks.
• CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to appointments.
• Administer medications following residential guidelines.
• Document accurately within a multidisciplinary team.
