Job summary

OPARC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Montclair, CA to provide person-centered support and transportation for adults with disabilities. The role includes health checks, mobility assistance, and documentation, while ensuring safety and participant dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Three (3) years of driving experience.
• Pass DOJ background check and fingerprint clearance, TB test, pre-employment physical, immunizations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support and transportation to adults with disabilities.
• Conduct routine health and wellness checks and document findings.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, daily living activities, and personal care while preserving dignity.
• Transport participants to and from day programs and community activities in OPARC vehicles.
• Maintain safety, monitor participants, and adhere to driver training guidelines.
