AHRC Nassau is seeking Direct Support Professionals for Wantagh Apartments (40hrs), Mon-Fri 10am-6pm. You will provide ongoing support to individuals in Community Living Services to help maintain a high quality of life.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS driver’s license, and the ability to follow written and oral directions. This on-site role emphasizes safety, health, and daily living activities.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license and maintain qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.

Aufgaben

• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
• Provide support in the areas of self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
• Practice and promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
