Job summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Latrobe, PA to provide direct support in clients’ homes or community settings. You’ll help clients build life and social skills while enjoying a supportive, team-based environment and paid training.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+, background checks, TB screen, CPR certification, and a valid PA driver’s license with a reliable vehicle. Bi-weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supporting adults or children with disabilities preferred.
• Background checks and TB screening required.
• CPR certification required; training provided if not valid.
• Ability to use tablets/PCs for documentation.
• Valid PA driver's license with insurance and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Document services provided and track progress.
• Provide direct support per service plan and guidelines.
• Assist with activities of daily living and independent living skills.
• Transport clients in own vehicle to various activities.
• Support skill development and community engagement.
• Uphold ATS’s mission, values and beliefs.
