Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals in achieving independence and community integration. The role covers safety monitoring, daily living support, and community participation with emphasis on empathy, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification ability.
• Shift full-time or part-time including weekends/holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 using eyes-on or checks as needed.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish collaborative relationships with individuals served, families, and professionals.
• Help individuals participate in social, leisure, and community activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (mobility, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Monitor vitals and relay information to care team.
• Attend medical appointments and relay updates to the team.
