Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is hiring a Direct Support Person in a full-time role in Aurora, IL. You will assist individuals with self-care, meals, hygiene, and daily activities, while documenting progress and planning supports in daily logs.

Responsibilities include transportation, community integration, and maintaining consistent attendance. Must be able to pass background checks, have a valid driver's license, and be 18+. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid basics required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work all shifts, including overnights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing for the state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with self-care, hygiene, meals, housekeeping, socialization and recreation.
• Collect, record, and file data as required.
• Support transportation and community integration for individuals served.
• Demonstrate professional, respectful conduct and maintain attendance.
