Job summary

Mosaic in Axtell, NE is seeking an Associate Direct Support Manager who leads shifts, mentors DSPs, and shapes a caring community for residents. The role blends direct care with operational oversight to ensure safe, quality services.

Minimum requirements: high school diploma, 1 year in IDD or related field, valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid; MANDT training is a plus. Full-time night shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) or a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work irregular hours, stand/walk for extended periods, and safely lift/transfer individuals as required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (Required).
• Medication Aide (40-hour) certification (Highly preferred upfront, but we will help you get certified!).
• MANDT training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift by example; train, coach, and onboard DSPs to foster a supportive team culture.
• Support adult residents with diverse medical and behavioral support needs, helping achieve personal goals and integrate into the local community.
• Coordinate daily activity schedules, assist with treatment planning, manage household finances, and ensure records are documented.
• Assist with meal preparations, follow doctor-ordered diets, administer medications, and respond to behavioral challenges.
