Job summary

Wee Care Corp is seeking Direct Support Providers in Surprise, AZ to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in strengthening independence, daily routines, and personal goals. This role delivers hands-on support aligned to individualized plans, encouraging empowerment and self-esteem, while maintaining safety and clear communication.

Most shifts occur after school hours—afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Genuine motivation to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Advocacy mindset that supports empowerment and self-esteem.
• Familiarity with developmental disabilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Article 9 training (or willingness to obtain).
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Most shifts take place after school hours—afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Review the plan for the day and connect with the individual in a calm, respectful way.
• Support routines, offer structure, and adjust approach based on progress.
• Maintain clear, professional communication and document key notes.
• Stay alert to safety and demonstrate progressive, meaningful wins.

This position exists to provide safe, respectful, evidence-based support that builds confidence and promotes meaningful progress.

Compensation is competitive, with an hourly pay range of $17.50–$21.00.
