Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Supervisor to lead a team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help implement ISPs, hire and train staff, schedule activities, and oversee operations to ensure high-quality care.

The role involves direct support, administrative tasks, and supervision, with opportunities to facilitate community involvement and transportation to activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (or higher).
• At least 1 year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification as required by regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with team members and those served.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and scheduling are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in admin duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals including daily activities such as meal prep, medication administration, and personal care.
• Duties split between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or activities.

Program Supervisor
