Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, in Minneapolis seeks a Program Supervisor to lead a team delivering care to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will oversee ISP implementation, supervise Caregivers, and support daily activities including meals, medication, and personal care.

The role blends hands-on leadership with administrative duties, offering full-time schedules and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with ability to establish rapport with individuals served and team members.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
• One year related work experience in a caregiving or supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support including daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; personal care.
• Duties are split between direct support, professional activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or transportation to work or activities.

Program Supervisor

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
