ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands-on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support

What We're Looking For in a Direct Support Professional

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
