DSP Responsibilities

• Personal care and housekeeping services
• Assist the residents in developing or executing independent living skills
• Provide written and/or electronic communication
• Accompany residents to appointments, via van transport when necessary.

DSP Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
• A demonstrated customer-service approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the resident and provider. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
• Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements.
