Job summary

Options in Community Living in Madison, WI is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help two men live their best life on a set schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and promoting independence in daily activities. You will receive paid training and orientation at $17.00/hr, a stable schedule with opportunities for extra hours, holiday and OT pay, and full-time benefits after 30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and attentive care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of two men
• Offer reassurance and emotional guidance, promoting calm and stability
• Assist with personal cares, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene
• Develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each individual
• Provide essential personal care assistance, including grooming, hygiene, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals that align with their dietary requirements and preferences
• Encourage and support physical activity
• Foster a positive and respectful relationship with both individuals.
