Job summary

Options in Community Living in Madison, WI is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support a young man in daily living and structured activities. The role includes evening shifts from Monday to Friday, with some weekend flexibility based on scheduling.

You will provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and ensure safety while promoting independence in a supportive home environment. As a non-profit agency, we value compassion, reliability, and patience.

Qualifications

• Must have WI driver's license and clean driving record to drive Options van.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities.
• Ability to follow a structured daily routine and maintain independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities.
• Offer guidance with bathroom routines while respecting independence.
• Follow a daily routine that emphasizes structure and consistency.
• Engage in activities such as video games and swimming with the client.
• Provide 24/7 support while respecting client's need for alone time.
• Communicate effectively and patiently, as the client may not always verbalize pain.

You will help a young man live his best life!

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities.
• Offer guidance and support with bathroom routines, while respecting his independence
• Follow a daily routine that caters to his love of structure
• Engage in fun activities, including video games, and swimming
• Provide 24/7 support, while also respecting his need for alone time
• Communicate effectively and patiently, as he may not always express pain or discomfort verbally
