Job summary

Sunrise Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Waterford, CT to provide supervision, support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live valued lives in the community. Responsibilities include implementing training and behavior support plans, ensuring health and safety, following approved schedules, and maintaining documentation.

Requires a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, basic computer skills and a high school

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports suspected abuse or violations of rights.
• Provides support, assistance and supervision to meet individuals’ needs and goals.

• Follows positioning schedules and uses equipment per plan.
