Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network's SAILS Washington division in Tumwater, WA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team. The position offers an hourly rate of $20.00, full-time status, and the opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings.

Responsibilities include providing daily living supports, promoting community integration, documenting plans and logs, and transporting participants when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum driving experience with valid in-state license.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Willingness to transport clients in own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to program participants that meets their needs and promotes community integration.
• Maintains daily living supports including personal hygiene, meals, and medication supervision.
• Assists participants with community outings and transportation as needed.
• Documents progress notes, medication logs, and incident reports thoroughly.
• Develops and implements the Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP) with supervision.
