Job summary

Wall Residences, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Supported Living and In-Home Care in the Bumpass and Montpelier areas of Virginia. This full-time position offers hourly pay from $18.00 to $20.00 with comprehensive benefits.

DSPs support individuals with daily tasks, transportation, and advocacy for medical needs, while maintaining detailed notes for continuity of care. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Detail-oriented; able to keep accurate notes for continuity of care.
• Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks (laundry, cleaning, meals).
• Provide transportation and accompany to medical/dental appointments.
• Advocate for medical needs and medication administration as required.

Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking full-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) for Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Bumpass (Louisa Co.) and Montpelier (Hanover Co.), Virginia areas.

Our In-Home and Supported Living Care DSP'sassist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing. Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities, support personal care needs, providing transportation and any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and assisting with medication administration.
