Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7 AM to 7 PM at our Wilmington, DE location. This on-site, full-time role supports individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, helping them live with dignity and independence in a team-focused environment.

The DSP provides hands-on care, follows individualized plans, assists with daily living activities, and may assist with medications while maintaining a safe and supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
