Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation services in the Liverpool area for a gentleman in his late-20s with a developmental disability. Responsibilities include accompanying him on community outings, supporting his hobbies, and helping develop independent living skills, including transportation to activities.

We value dependable, patient, and enthusiastic individuals. A background check and DMV record check will be conducted before hire.

Qualifications

• Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Community Habilitation services to a gentleman in his late-20s with a developmental disability.

He and his family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist him with working on his goals, both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting him to pursue his hobbies and interests by accompanying and supporting him during community outings; helping him to gain independent living skills and providing transportation. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
