Venture Community Services Inc. invites a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Massachusetts. The role supports adults with disabilities, providing everyday care, community involvement, and advocacy to promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Accompany them to medical appointments, banking, outings, and follow Behavior/Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
• Maintain safety and compliance with agency policies and DDS regulations; complete trainings.
