Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in New Jersey. The DSP will assist with daily activities, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness while advocating for the needs and interests of those served.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with disabilities, basic computer skills ( Therap a plus), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Empathy and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities: chores, meals, recreation, and fitness.
• Represent the needs and input on program planning for individuals served.
