AHL HealthCare Group is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with disabilities in rural Duluth-area homes. The role emphasizes advocacy, education, and compassionate caregiving in 4-bedroom settings.

Locations include Duluth area communities such as Rice Lake, Pike Lake, and Gary New Duluth. The position offers part-time or full-time hours with day, evening, or awake overnight shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to pass MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Reliable transportation preferred; $0.50/hour less for non-drivers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with residents and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting daily services in electronic records.
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them.
• Going to appointments with clients.

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking extraordinary, kind, and compassionate people who can act as an advocate, supporter, educator, and caregiver to individuals with disabilities or mental illness as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Several of our homes are in rural Duluth, Hermantown, and Saginaw, MN, and are 4-bedroom residential settings centered around the individuals we support. Our most important goal is to provide services to enrich and empower the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives and our DSPs are crucial in achieving that goal.

Compensation

• $17.50 - $19.00/hour depending on driving status and location hired for

• Duluth, MN 55811 - Pike Lake area
• Duluth, MN 55808 - Gary New Duluth area

Hours Of Position

• Part-time/Full-time

Typical Job Duties
