Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will join a mission-driven team and support participants to live well and grow.

Pay $18.50 per hour with a schedule including weekends and midweek shifts. Sevita offers competitive pay, full benefits for full-time, a 401(k) with a 3% match, PTO, and supportive supervision to help you develop in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with complex needs.
• Help participants pursue community activities and daily goals.
• Support participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and advocate for participant independence.
