Benhaven, Inc. is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals for our Residential Services program in North Haven, CT.

You will assist adults with developmental disabilities and autism with daily living activities in a supportive home environment, helping them live as independently as possible. We offer full-time shifts (36, 30, or 32 hours) with rotating days and evenings, comprehensive training, and opportunities to grow within a caring organization.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
• Ability to pass a criminal & driver's background check.
• Valid CT driver's license, current registration and auto insurance.
• CPR & PMT certified preferred, but training provided.
• DDS Med Certified preferred, but training provided.

Mansioni

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Implement individualized support plans and goals under the Residential Services Coordinator.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Document daily progress and any incidents or concerns in individual files.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and staff members.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
