Job summary

Skill Creations, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support for individuals with physical/medical, behavioral and cognitive needs in our Goldsboro facilities. The role includes assisting with personal care, medication administration and independent living skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Prompt and regular attendance for assigned work schedule.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving is required.
• CPR/First Aid and Behavior Management training.
• Basic computer skills for e-mail, electronic training modules and recording data.

Responsibilities

• Provide care according to the needs of individuals living in Skill Creations, Inc. facilities, including personal care, medication administration and independent living skills.
• Help transport/accompany individuals to activities in the community and to appointments.
• Assist with independent living skills and documentation as needed.
