Job summary

Support Services of Virginia in Danville, VA is hiring Direct Support Professional Relief staff to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. You will support daily living activities, encourage independence, and help individuals pursue meaningful lives.

Qualifications

• Proof of highest level of education.
• Able to pass criminal/registry background checks and tuberculosis screening.
• Able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Direct Support Professional Core Competencies.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Provide assistance with daily living activities while encouraging independence.
• Support individuals in residential and community-based settings to participate in meaningful activities.
