Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Marlton, NJ program. We value individuals who want to help others reach their fullest potential and who are committed to providing compassionate care. No experience is required as paid training is provided, with immediate hiring.

Pay rate is $20.13/hr. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities under supervision, fostering independence, and supporting residents in housekeeping and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Experience in a home health aide or IDD setting preferred.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities under supervision.
• Support independence and coaching in daily tasks (housekeeping, laundry).
• Observe and report residents' progress and needs to supervisors.
• Follow program procedures and ensure a safe, clean living environment.

Be a part of fostering a true sense of pride in your individual by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry. Your work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager who reviews results through living area observation of activities in progress, residents’ responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports, and periodic meetings. Make a difference in the life of those you work with to enhance their independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.
