Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our program in New Jersey. No experience required—we provide paid training and placement in environments such as homes, schools, and community settings.

You’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them reach their fullest potential. Pay rate starts at $18.13/hr or $20.13/hr with Enhanced Pay, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth across Merakey’s national network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Support to individuals per the Individual Support Plan.
• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care, housekeeping, and laundry to promote independence.
