Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience in day/residential programs serving persons with disabilities preferred.
• Must read, write and understand English; strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
• Knowledge of basic math concepts.
• Working knowledge of personal computers (desirable).
• CDL valid with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and one-to-one instruction daily.
• Provide direct personal care (including bathroom duties) as needed.
• Assist in application of behavioral management techniques as specified in instructional plans.
• Record data daily regarding customer progress toward ISP objectives.
• Maintain classroom equipment and general facility cleanliness.
• Assist with Transportation as needed and ensure safety.
