Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Willingboro, NJ program. No experience required—paid training is provided, and the role involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to grow and engage in community activities.

You will follow an Individual Support Plan, assist with daily living tasks, and help individuals build social and communication skills. The position pays $17.75/hr and offers opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license. (Prefer candidates have their own transportation).
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to assist individuals with daily living activities.
• Support individuals in various settings and help develop social and communication skills.
